Gazi Mohammed Tareq joined MIDAS Investments Limited as the Chief Executive Officer in 2022. Before joining MIDAS, Mr. Tareq served as the CEO of Elegant Stock & Securities Limited, Prior to join Elegant he was work as Head of Operation with LANKABANGLA SECURITIES LTD the largest brokerage house in Bangladesh. He was In- Charge, Merchant Banking Operation, Chittagong Branch at IDLC. He was starting his carrier earlier in 1996 with QSI Securities Ltd. Than he joined with LankaBangla Securities Ltd (former Vanik Bangladesh Securities Ltd.) in 2001. He has more than 26 years of experience in the local capital market. He brings with him profound experience from various fields of Bangladesh Capital market.
A Business Graduate from Southern University. He has completed various training program like, professional training in sales by TACK Training International, Katmandu, Nepal in 2008, Certificate course in Equity Capital Market in 2012, organized by U& I, Dhaka University, Introduction and application of Derivatives by Pearl Institute in 2014 and AML/CFT, Focusing capital market intermediaries by Bangladesh Bank in 2014. He Participated in AML/CFT Risk Management Master Class, conducted by International Technical Assistance and Training AUSTRAC. He is also attended International conference on Market Risk Management summit, 2017 in Mumbai, India and Training on Business Innovation Idea organized by AOTS, 2017 in OSAKA, JAPAN.
Md. Abu Hashem Sabuz
Manager - Finance & Deputy Company Secretary
Mr. Md. Abu Hashem Sabuz joined MIDAS Investments Limited (MIL) in 2022 as Manager - Finance & Deputy Company Secretary. He has almost 10 years of experience in Capital Market Industry having expertise in the field of Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Secretarial and Compliance activity of a Company. He has considerable expertise in the preparation and presentation of different types of reports and has enough knowledge of Company Law, Income Tax Law, Merchant Banking Rules and regulations and other related laws. Prior to joining MIL, he has worked with Fareast Stocks & Bonds Limited and BetaOne Investments Limited.
Mr. Hashem completed his Masters in Accounting from National University of Bangladesh and perusing Chartered Accountancy course at professional level from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and completed his CA articled ship from S. F. Ahmed & Co., Chartered Accountants. He is also registered Income Tax Practitioner of National Board of Revenue (NBR). During his career he participates in number of training and seminars conducted by Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission, National Board of Revenue, Dhaka Stock Exchange and Bangladesh Bank.
Mr. Md. Wahiduzzaman, MBS
Asst. Manager, Portfolio & Issue Management
Mr. Md.Wahiduzzaman has joined MIL family in June 2018. He has over 6 years Experience in Capital market of Bangladesh. He started his career with HAC Securities Ltd. in 2011 and served there for more than 6 years in different departments like Operations, Portfolio Management, Credit. He has a decent amount of knowledge in Merchant Banking operations and Asset Management Company’s operations, Brokerage Firm. He attended several number of workshop and training, arranged by different training organizations in Bangladesh, like Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, Dhaka stock Exchange Ltd, Stock Bangladesh Ltd, Bdjobs.com. Mr. Md. Wahiduzzaman obtained B.Com. (Hon’s) & MBS in Finance & Banking under National University.
Mohammad Afsarul Islam

Mohammad Afsarul Islam joined MIDAS Investment Limited on 03 July 2017 as Executive Officer. He has more than 9 (Nine) Years experience in IT sector of Capital Market. He started his career with AB & CO. Limited in 2008 DSE TREC #043. Before joining MIDAS Investment Limited, he worked with Mercantile Bank Securities Limited almost 3 (three) years in relevant field. He completed his professional course on Cisco Certified Network Associate “CCNA” and obtained training & certificate on Computer Hardware & Troubleshoot. He also obtained Compliance Training Program on “Securities Laws in Bangladesh” organized by Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM). He is participated training and obtained certificate on “Automated Trading System “organized by Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd.
Mohammad Afsarul Islam is a Member of the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) and his Membership No. M-30986. He graduated in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from Daffodil International University (DIU).
